Favre Football
If interested, click here and sign up to
help create a Favre Football team in
every grade school from kindergarten
on up.  Some schools will do this on
their own, but those schools that don't
will need Volunteers from all across
America and the rest of the world to
help create local Football teams so kids
can play football like Brett Favre does.
We are inspired by Brett Favre's commitment
to excellence in how he has fun playing
football.   www.FavreFootball.com began the
day Brett Favre said he may retire from the
NFL when he said he's not sure what he'll do
next.  He deserves the break and when his
football genes kick back in, hopefully we will
have things up and running to the point
where he will be proud we selected him as
our mentor in our goal to help young kids
play more football, and who knows maybe he
will come back yet this year! (March 6, 2008)
Ever play Madden Football?  It's great.
Kids can learn all about football from
it, but it's a video game played inside.
Favre Football is all about getting kids
outside and putting a real football in
their hands and letting them play
football with other kids and parents.

Vincent Stitt, Oregon - "Brett we want you back.  The Packers have a long history of
being a community team.  Brett Favre has been the face of that community for nearly
two decades.  He deserves our loyalty and the Packers(Ted Thompson) should jump at
the chance to bring him back.  Listen to the fans.  Brett is the greatest thing to happen
to the Packers since Vince Lombardi. Thanks Ron Wolf for bringing him here.  If only
Ted Thomspon understood the legend of the Packers and their pro-bowl quarterback.
"

Brady Stitt, Oregon -
"Brett we want you back.  You are the Green Bay Packers even if
Ted Thompson doesn't know it."

Huge PACKER fan, Boise Idaho - "Brett, think of all the fans that you let down if you
make your decision with TT. TT is one person, your fans are millions maybe even

nothing compared to you. #4 YOU MUST COME BACK!!!"

July 11, 2008:

Jeff Butler, Austin, TX - "What do we need to go to get millions of people to swamp
packers headquarters with letters, emails, phone calls, etc. to make Ted Thompson
welcome Brett back?  jbutleratx@hotmail.com"

Bill, Packerland - "Jeff (ABOVE), the answer is YES and I'm astonished that it took
someone from the Cowboys turf to point that out to us here in Wisconsin.  We need to
wake up and act now.  It's like having Elvis or the Beatles perform again.  If Favre wants
to come back, then he's back.  Only a fool would think otherwise, but again, if it is going
to take a march on Lambeau then so be it."

Karen, Milwaukee - "Packer fans need to protest the Packer organization for not
bringing Brett back with open arms! Set up a date and time with #4 T-shirts in Green
Bay and I can name quite a few who would show up.  Remember, the people own the
Packers.  They have a right to influence the decision to bring him back. Especially since
we now know he wants to come back."

Kenn B, Madison, Wi - "TT, lose your ego and BRING BRETT BACK ASAP..The best
chance for a Packer Super Bowl is Brett Favre..not unproven Rodgers"

Angela, Adams, Wisconsin - "I think Brett Favre should be accepted back by the
Greenbay Packers. It is his rightful place."

please don't play for any other team but the Packers!  No matter what, you will never
belong to any other team but ours!"

Gracie Truesdell, Peshtigo WI - "Let's bring Brett Farve back and get rid of Ted
Thompson and Mike McCarthy if they are not smart enough to know they should bring
him back and count themselves lucky to have him!!"

Jeremy Beard, Jacksonville, IL - "Brett, please comeback!  Packers, please let Favre
come back!  He is still our best chance for a Super Bowl!!"

mark4, green bay - "I know what Brett can do for the packers, but what will happen if
when Aaron is the captain."

Bill, Packerland - "mark4 (Above), I really believe that if Packer fans rally each Sunday
noon at Lambeau, Favre will absolutely be our QB and Aaron Rodgers will be just fine as
Favre's backup, so dont worry about Aaron, he'll be just fine.  Just get ready for Brett to
return, it's gonna happen, and we are going to make sure.  200 fanns showed up at the
Rally today, I predict thousands next Sunday July 20th and if us fans who own the
Packers get our way, Brett Favre himself will join us Sunday July 27th as the offical 2008
starting QB for GB.  See you at Lambeau on Sunday."

July 14, 2008:

Jayson, Madison Wi - "GO PACK GO- BRETT FAVRE IS THE GREATEST QB EVER,
WHO GIVES YOU BEST CHANCE TO WIN. exactly. ted thompson must be crazy. take
favre back and give him his job back"

Josh C, Wausau Wisconsin - "PACKERS BRING BRETT BACK!!!! I will hate you guys if
you turn on the hardest working Packer player ever! don't shun the best thing ever in
favor for a Unknown bum Rodgers who can't resist injurys!  Bring Brett back Ted and
Mike or be faced with mutiny! Us fans own the Packers not you or any president and we
want Brett Favre Back as the packers starting Quarterback in September!"

margo mccreary, aspen, colorado - "You Brett, i mean you bet i have a comment!!!!
BRING BRETT BACK!!! I don't give a %@#* what's up TT's you know what, but there
has never been a quarterback like Mr. Favre! what he brings to the game, his "passion
for football" speaks for itself! Who else can you name that after literally a lifetime of
playing the same sport... still gives everything he's got to every play!!! When you watch
Brett play it's like watching you're kid play... you hang on to every play... you're on the
edge of your seat, holding your breath and my favorite... jumping up & down & actually
shedding a tear during the Lambeau Leep celebrations because he just pulled off
another mind blowing touchdown pass!!! the GB fans are emotionally & perhaps even
spiritually attached to Brett for these very reasons! Where else in life is there a ride like
Brett Favre... i'll pay & i'll play all day long!!! Don't forget TT... the fans fill their stadium,
not you!!! Aaron will get his shot, give us what we want, what Brett wants... ONE MORE
YEAR!!! I love you Brett, we all love you... good luck & lotsa love in all of your
endeavors!!! margo, colorado"

Mary Sue Ray, Alpharetta (Atlanta), GA - "People ask me down here in Atlanta why I'm a
Packer fan. It's very simple - Brett Favre. I love the Packers and believe that Brett
should have the opportunity to come back if that's what he wants. The Packers need to
show some respect to this awesome quarterback. Brett, the team needs you!! The fans
need you! Football needs you!!"

Brian Brown, DeForest, WI - "Do it behind closed doors:  Tell Brett he has the starting
position, but he'll have to make it look good by 'competing' with Rodgers.  This let's
everyone off the hook...and gets us closer to a Super Bowl, with Brett Favre as Q.B. "

Karl Zillgitt, age 24, Colgate, WI - "Brett you have been an isperation to me i spent some
time in trouble and i really want to thank you because watching you play insired me to
straiten out and turn my life around. thank you. Packers pull you heads out of your butt
and let him come home."

Kilroy, Oshkosh, Wisconsin - "Let the man start for the team which he gave his entire
career to we move on when he wants to move on. He wants to play for us so let him play
and end his career where it should be ended.. in green bay..."

July 15, 2008:

Jeff P, Beloit, WI. - "Let Brett Play. Bring him back"

Johnny, Wisconsin - "Brett needs to get together with people like Donald Driver and
Greg Jennings and find out that they want him back too."

Donna Petersen, Eagle, WIsconsin - "We should be thrilled to get him back."

Rus Yaeger, Laona, Wis.

Melissa, Wisconsin -
"Bring back Brett Favre!! "

Bear Creek Wisconsin native - "Favre is a member of our communities.  He hunts
around here, he shops around here.  He goes to our church.  He's a local boy to us
Wisconsinites.  This is his home.  He belongs here as long as he wants.  We let Bart
Starr coach for years, and he deserved that too.  So what ever Brett wants, LET HIM
HAVE IT!"

Emily, Wisconsin - "Brett should just come back to Green Bay and all will be great!"

Bottom Line - "Even the Packers, who are the only publicly owned team in the NFL, can
show the arrogance and blind corruption that the big money controlled politicians and
secret deals backroom types like Ted Thompson display.  Shame shame.  It's time for
the people who own the Packers to clean house.  Get rid of the corruption and put
honor back into the Packers reputation."

July 16, 2008:

Sandra Tielens, Santa Rosa, CA - "Need to bring him back - why not?"

Linda Norton, Welches, OR by way of Oconto, WI - "No brainer, bring back Brett."

JIM, Pittsburgh, PA - "Brett Farve is a football icon. I think someone important has forgot
that somehow. He deserves to play as long as he wants after all he has done for the
franchise and the fans deserve it as well. He is one of a kind. If the franchise doesn't
want him to start they should release him to play elsewhere (though it wouldn't be the
same) so fans all over can still appreciate him while he is still around. He is already a
legend and it's unanimous. I don't know anyone that shares the same view as the
Packer front office!! Green Bay will not be Green Bay that me and my dad used to watch
without Favre as long as he wants to play there!!! LET HIM PLAY!!!"

dj braymiller, fulton ny - "Do whats best for brett bring him back  hes still got his game if
you want a superbowl go with brett Im a bills fan but i think bretts the qb 4 ever"

david, ny - "Let the best qb in the history of football come back"

Ed White, Milwaukee Alaska - "Oh my God, Vince would have Ted's head on a stick by
now. Wake UP BRING THE VINCE LOMBARDI TROPHY HOME !!!!!!!"

Elizabeth, Wisconsin - "If the Thompson gets his way and the Packers have a losing
season with Rodgers, the fans will throw both of them out of town, wise up!"

DAVID HOOPER, PEARL,MISSISSIPPI - "When it is all said and done, there is one man
best suited to take the packers as far as they can go, and that is #4"

John & Alicia Walling, Malin, OR - "BRING HIM BACK NOT TO SIT ON THE BENCH
BUT TO BE THE STARTER QB UNTIL HE IS GOOD AND READY TO CALL IT QUITS
ON HIS OWN!!!!!! "

Shelli, Milwaukee, WI - "Brett belongs in Green Bay as the starting quarterback. I had
never watched a game of football until Favre arrived in Green Bay and then I was
addicted.  He is a legend and brought credibility and success back to the Packer
organization.  There is no question in my mind who the starting quarterback is!"

Joseph Norton, Anaheim, California - "Favre is Packers!!!!!!!!!!!"

John Kittrell, OMAHA - "Bring Brett back....its a no brainer"

Amy, Packer Fan in Connecticut - "Please bring him back! I have been fortunate enough
to see one game in Green Bay when he played, and there was nothing like seeing him
run out of that tunnel.  PLEASE BRING HIM BACK!"

Bill, Packerland - "It's like Elvis deciding to sing at his concert, but the management
decides instead to let his understudy sing.  Who do you think the audience wants, Elvis
or Aaron Rodgers?  We want Favre.  We should get Favre.  Favre, welcome back to
Green Bay.  Suit up."

Tamara Berry, Montello, WI - "I would be ecstatic to watch Brett play for the Packers
another year. I don't think I could stand to see Brett wearing a jersey for any other team.
The management should give consideration to their fans. We want Brett back. Win or
people are always willing to pay to see Brett play."

FRAN, TOLEDO, OHIO - "BRETT NEEDS TO COME BACK TO GREEN BAY.  WE ARE
NOT THROUGH ADMIRING HIS GRIT, HIS HUMOR AND MOST OF ALL HIS TALENT.
BRING BRETT BACK NOW!!!!!"

KATHY, TOLEDO - "I THINK IT IS UNBELIEVEABLE THAT THE PACKER FANS, WHO
BY THE WAY OWN THE TEAM, ARE NOT TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION. WE DO
NOT WANT HIS NUMBER RETIRED AT THIS TIME. WE WANT BRETT IN HIS
UNIFORM, AS THE QUARTER BACK. HOW DARE YOU (TT) SAY IT IS NOT AN
OPTION. WE HAVE BEEN HOPING AND PRAYING FOR THIS DAY TO COME, AND
NOW WE ARE THE JOKE OF FOOTBALL."

nick, wisconsin - "mr favre go to the falcons"

Amy, Houghton, MI - "We Want you back Brett!!!!!"

Paula, Fond du Lac - "Hopefully the shareholders meeting will result in bringing Brett
back and moving/trading Thompson instead."

sandy schulz, west bend, wi - "WTF Green Bay? Not good enough for you but too good
to play against huh? If he can beat out Aaron Rogers for the starting position why isn't
he on the field?"

Tony, Green Bay - "I heard Arron Rodgers went out with McCarthy and Thompson and
kept his puppy dog eyes whimpering for the spot, and like suckers, these two geniouses
gave in to him.  Now they dont want to go back on their word because Arron then paid
the tab, so what you gonna do when stupidity is entered into your life?  My relatives in
California feel sorry for all us Packer fans for having such stupid people running the
Packer organization.  Hopefully they will all be fired on Thursday at the Shreholder's
meeting."

Sam, River Falls, "Brett can still play as proven by his practice in Mississippi. Bring Brett
back."

(7/20/8 All comments above were printed and presented to: Brett Favre, Mike McCarthy,
Mark Murphy and Ted Thompson at Rally #2 at Lambeau Field.

Brooke, Green Bay - "Please bring Brett back, he is our best chance to win.  Without
Brett I am not sure about the Packers chances at all.  Please let him play and be the
starter"

Kim Johnson, Branson, Missouri - "The Green Bay Packers can not let Brett Favre go,
everyone is allowed to change their minds....let him play and let him retire when he is
truly ready to retire....to let him go to another team is unthinkable....us Packer Fans &
the share holders have the POWER to make this happen...I have been a Packer fan
since I was able to watch a game...met Elijah Pittts when I was a little girl...am 49 now &
live in Mo and have watched this state become Packer fans & there is nothing more
gratifying than going to a Packer Bar & watching people from all walks of life come
together & watch the Packers w/Brett as the leader play! The world would not make
sense w/Brett playing for anyone else. It is insane & inconceivable that the powers that
be would even consider not letting him continue on...This suggests that something else
is going on behind the scenes that we as fans are not aware of. FANS, take a STAND &
let the Packer franchise know, LOUD & CLEAR, that we will not stand for this! No
disrespect to Mr. Rodgers, but he can play another time...THIS IS BRETTS TIME! This
is a Team owned by the people, for the people, and we have the POWER to have Brett
continue on! Wisconsin, rally and make your voices heard!"

rose mathey, green bay

Roberta Gorman, Forsyth, Mo....oirginally from Wisconsin! -
"If I could be there to rally, I
would...I would also like to shake TT AND MM both by the shoulders till some sort of
sense came to them. This is just unbelievable and unthinkable if it goes down
without Brett coming back. So many great comments!...well most of them! :P"

Steve, Grafton WI. - "FAVRE thinks he is bigger than the team, I used to respect him but
not anymore."

Mary Deviley (packer fan since 1955), Green Bay Wisconsin (Titletown USA) - "Brett,
you need to be here for training camp!  Get reinstated, show up, and be the #1 starting
guarterback (you know you will be)."

packerlynn, Wisconsin - "It seems "we" the public haven't been told the whole truth by
either side.  Come on guys, this is the GREEN BAY PACKERS you are fooling around
with.  Stop acting like spoiled boys and start acting like men.  That goes for Brett too.
Get together, iron out your differences and BRING BRETT BACK.  Let him play another
year.  He has earned that right.  He can still play and wants to. It's a no brainer !!!! "

H Rankin, Tomahawk, WI

Kim Johnson, Missouri -
"You need to keep this website UP TO DATE! PLEASE! It's one
of the best, but it is not CURRENT, please, please, keep it updated. Thanks for all the
hard work I know it entails."

Sandy, California - "Brett Favre IS the face of the Packers and gives us the best chance
to win.  Ted Thompson is a liar that twists the truth to get his way.  COME BACK BRETT
- THEY CAN'T MAKE YOU THE BACK UP!!!!"

Mitchell C. - Longtime Packers fan, Calgary, Alberta, Canada - "Put the best
quarterback on the field! Competition is the solution, if you have faith in Rodgers and
believe that he's the best available then there shouldn't be a problem with them both
being at training camp.  Put your money where your mouth is Ted."

Tina Korn, Wisconsin - "It makes me sick to my stomach that the Packers are treating
Brett this way. He is a man of "Honor" and should be treated as such. Iam a huge
Packer fan, have been all my life. Facing the season with out Brett was going to be hard
enough for everyone. We thought we were going to be retiring his jersery the first game
and send him off in to retirement to do what ever makes him happy. Now, we are going
in to the season KNOWING we could have the man who has brought this team to many
victory's,shared his up's and downs, gave so much to the state of Wisconsin and
Mississippi. Plus, lets not forget "He has never missed a day of work"!!!!!  That alone
speaks volume. He has nothing to prove to the Packers or the "Na" sayer. His record
speaks for itself. He deserves his job back and the Packers should be ashamed for the
circus they caused and created. I wish nothing but the best for Brett. "

Michelle Schieffer, Iowa - "Stupid is all I can say. Who wouldn't play the BEST
quarterback in the nfl. If he is so washed up give him to the Vikings because this long
time Packers fan will be a Favre fan for life who ever he plays for. I would love to see him
go to the Vikings!!!"

julia krostag, portage, in,

long time packer fan, baltimore -
"brett should have the right to play in the NFL, the
packers have moved on to Aaron, and thats fine! whats wrong with a little quarter back
competion for the starting job? Brett belongs in green bay!!!!"

Mike Callery, Lowell Mass - "A"

Bet, West Virginia - "#4 is THE reason I became a cheesehead back in 1992! He is a
prolific tenacious ICON who DESERVES to wear the green and gold of GB! "

Lacey, Jefferson WI - "I want Brett"

Patrick pribula, exeter pennsylvania - "If the Pack turns their back on Bret then I will be
turning my back on the pack!"

Linda, Milwaukee - "I demand that Ted Thompson be fired on the spot!!!! BRING
BACK BRETT NOW!!!! GET OUT OF GREEN BAY THOMPSON, You've done enough
DAMAGE!!!!!!!!!"

Lacey, Jefferson WI

Steve, Ishpeming MI - "Enough already!  They all criticized John Kerry & a lot of the
political candidated for "Flip-Flopping", and now FAVRE is doing the same thing.  He's a
big boy.  Make up your mind!  Either reitre or shut up!  I'm tired of it all.  Used to respect
him, not any more!"

EDDY, MILWAUKEE - "I will sign any petition to clean house at Lambeau!!!!!!!! Bring
Back BRETT!!!!!!!"

Sue C., PA - "Please make it stop!!  Bring the Hillbilly back and I'll be there by the
weekend!"

M. Pugmire, Wisconsin

PACKER BACKER FROM NY, NEW YORK - "Who gives us the best chance to win -
hmmm B..R...E...T...T.  I love him and the Packers owe it to him!  Rodgers could be a
bust and he's got 1 yr left only.  I want to win and that's with Brett!  Ride the Favre wave
as long as we can!Grant should say bring back Brett back too!"

CHRIS KUHN -CHEESEHEAD MANIAC, BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC - "STOP the
nonsense.  Brett gives us best, Aaron does not!  What's 1 more year of winning- ride the
freakin Favre Wave  till the end!"

Amy Freed, Townsend, Delaware - "The Packers should be bending over backwards to
let Brett play after all of the loyalty he has given them over the years."

CRYSTAL HOILE, MAUSTON, WI 53948 - "BRING BRETT BACK AS STARTING QB!"

Heather, MS - "Brett Favre is the best option for the Packers at QB.  Period."

R P Daniels, Milwaukee, and I oughta know... - "As a life-long Packer fan, I cannot
believe what is happening in Green Bay. This reminds me of the Joe Montana deal in
San Francisco. It stinks! The Ted and Mike Show in Packerland is getting thin, and it's
time for the fans and the players to step up and tell management "Bring Back Brett!".
The only chance we have of repeating last year, and getting to the Super Bowl, is with
Brett, and beating the Giants, Bears, and the Cowboys. Get your heads out of the sand,
Ted and Mike, and do the deal. Get Brett or get out!"

Michael, Plover WI - "As part-owner of the Green Bay Packers, I feel it is time that TT
and MM leave at once.  There is a great article on ESPN.com the states how TT has
LIED to all us fans and owners.  I think It should be our decision on weather or not to get
rid of both TT and MM.  And I tell you one think.......they would probably be gone
TODAY!!  Isn't the object of football to win the big game??  Isn't that TT and MM's job??
To put in the best players to win championships now not in 20 years!!!!  As an owner, I
want to win now and I think a lot of us out there feel the same!!  Brett is our best chance
and I don't know how other people can think other wise!!  Oh and one more thing...some
one needs to tell Aaron Rogers to "watch out for the water bottle on the bench!!"  he
might trip and hurt himself!!"

Dottie Evans, 50 yr. Packer fan, California - "Brett is a lot more than a great player, he
has principals & integrity that all young athletes should look up to. The admiration of
players, coaches & even many announcers speak loud & clear. Thompson & Co. are
using ego driven power plays instead of obvious common sense.
Make us proud, bring Brett back! "

Dan Tomcheck, green bay Wi - "brett .is... excellence. enough said"

Peter Berg, Burbank, California - "The packers (ted thompson) are not giving Brett
Favre enough respect.  Despite his indecision he is the best!"

Brett Gerndt, Nevada, IA - "IT DOESN'T TAKE AN MBA TO REALIZE HAVING BRETT
FAVRE AS QB IS THE BEST BUSINESS DECISION FOR SHORT TERM AND LONG
TERM FOR THE PACKERS FRANCHISE, ITS FANS, ADVERTISERS/SPONSORS,
MEDIA, AND THE NFL!  From the recent players' interviews, it is very apparant that they
have all been told what to say and mostly what not to say lest they be slapped with a fine
and/or jeopardize their own positions!  As Al Harris said, "You're killin' me man!  ah ah,
ah, I gotta talk to Mike..."  SHEESH!!!  Come on GB Players, you all know who is the
BEST QB for the job to get you ALL to Superbowls.....and we regret that you all now do
not have the audacious balls that Randy Moss has had when he was extremely
outspoken throwing caution to the wind, fine or no fine,,,,DAMN THE TORPEDOS!!!
FULL SPEED AHEAD...BRING BRETT BACK!!!!"

Brad Gerndt, Milwuakee, WI originally; now Iowa - "Hey, I grew up when Vince Lombardi
had half the home games at my hometown's County Stadium, been through 30 looonngg
years of "The Pack'll be back...next year!"  In comes Brett Favre, Mike Holmgren and
company....and the rest is legendary history.  What kind of "business decision" does
Thompson think he's making?  It doesn't take an MBA, BA, or even one business class
in high school to know the BEST BUSINESS DECISION IN THE SHORT TERM AS WELL
AS LONG TERM IS TO WELCOME BRETT FAVRE BACK WITH OPEN ARMS!!!  At least
let him compete for the position,,,,give him SOME due for the 17 long great years he's
given to Green Bay Packers, the City, the State, the NFL, the Nation, and the World!  I
agree, wanting to keep this positive, but when there is obvious filtering and manipulation
of media and certain shareholders....all controlled by pupetmaster and tyrant Ted
Thompson, who could care less what the fans want or what Wisconsin residents or even
other players want....he's just a stubborn dictator who doesn't know that to be successful
in business, one must be flexible and be able to change directions at a moment's notice!
What would Mike Holmgren have done?  Vince Lombardi?  At least let Brett compete
and show good SPORTSMANSHIP and TEAMWORK!!!"

D.T., Green Bay, Wisconsin - "Thanks for the memories, Brett. But you should earn
you're spot at starting QB in training camp. You're a pretty good QB, history tells us
that!"

"I think Packer fans need to let the organization know we will personally hit them in the
pocket book because they do not listen to the average fan's feedback."

Derrick D., Waconia, Minnesota - "Brett has 2 years on his contract and Rodgers has
1... Why would ANY organization move forward with Rodgers over Favre?!?!
Brett, we all want you back. Thompson, you just want Brett gone so you get all the glory.
You should be fired."

Chris Seeger, Los Angeles, CA

Smart Person, Wisconsin - "I cant believe how stupid McCarthy, Murphy and that idtiot
Thompson are.  Every time those 3 are on TV, they convince all of America that they are
the stupidest people on earth.  What a bunch of fools mismanaging TitleTown!"

David Kroll, Indianapolis IN - "Brett is a hall of fame quaterback that has put this team on
his back for 16 years.  He at least deserves the opportunity to compete for the job!  Ted
Thompson needs to be fired for his handling of this situation along with the Ryan Grant
mess!"

Michelle Bertram, Mineral Point - "Brett is the Packers!"

Jason Owen, Lynbrook, NY - "The way the green bay packers are treating the greatest
QB in NFL history is unforgiveable.  ive been a fan of bretts since the 1st time i saw him
play for Green bay.  I hope that Green Bay wises up and starts treating Brett the way he
deserves to be treated...like a legend.  right now their treating him like hes as good as
Ryan Leaf.  unforgiveable.  Best of luck Brett!!!"

kathy wolff, Fl, originally IL - "They are NUTS if they don't bring him back!"

Kim Johnson, Branson, Missouri - "There are no words to explain how upsetting this
whole situation has been. To see the media run w/stories that are unproven with the end
result being to blight a man's reputation who has gave everything he has to a football
team, a city & a State is inconceivable. Money is not his goal, but the love of a game in a
city that he loves for a team that he loves. To not have the whole State, his whole team,
not stand up & Welcome him back with open arms is the most tragical thing I could have
ever imagined. It is a dark day for us Packer Fans that have always supported them no
matter what. Listen to what others in the world have said. How sad is this, that others
can not even imagine that Brett would play for any other team? How can the Powers that
be treat Brett Favre the way he has been treated? We are all human and make mistakes
& change our minds. We are not chased out of town or our character assassinated
because of it. If Brett goes unwillingly,!  so do I. Go to SaveBrett.net & vote!"

Diane Chevian, Larchmont , NY - "Brett, You ARE the Packers. "

Laurie Budre, O'Neals  CA - "Ted Thompson is an egomaniac who will destroy the
Packers if he is allowed to do so.  Fire Ted and Bring Brett Back !!  My 3 year old
Grandson Brett says it best  "Go Number 4 ! ""

Judy, Green Bay - "I have been a season ticket holder for over 30 years and if Brett
doesn't start then i will GIVE my tickets to people in Dallas, Minneapolis and Chicago to
join me in cheering on the opposing teams.  This is WAR!  McCarthy, you are dumber
than dumb; Thompson you are a crook and a liar; Murphy resign for bribing a decent
man, shame on you all, you 3 are the biggest loosers, you plan is to LOOSE with
Rodger, we want to WIN with Favre - RESIGN all 3 of you."

Mary, Saint Francis, Wisconsin - "Did I hear this right?  The Packers sent Murphy in a
private jet to bribe Favre with $20 Million?  These evil people need to be rooted out and
burned.  Brett don't listen to the Devil.  Get to Green Bay and play.  We are all behind
you now.  Please forgive us for letting the media brain wash us that you were the bad
guy.  We now see clearly that the evil doers are standing in your way.  Come home to
Lambeau.  We miss you."

Sister Mardelle - "I wished that I knew of these Rallies for Brett sooner; I would have
come!"

After Favre appears in New York as Starting QB for the Jets:

Jim, Packerland - "No loyalty to the 3X MVP. No loyalty to the brand that was once one-
Packers &Favre. They never wanted him back and that's why he retired in the first
place. The rest was just damage control and window dressing. No Superbowls in the
foreseeable future for the Packers. The only goal of any NFL team- to win a Superbowl-
was the reason to take him back. How are the Bears ( 23 QB's and counting ), Dolphins
  ( remember Marino ?) , Bronco's ( since Elway ),and Lions doing ?  I could go on.
Sorry the Lions never had a good quarterback just a great running back.
So let 's see how that plan for the future works out for , yes, the 3 blind mice. Both sides
had foolish moments, however, the odds of first year quarterbacks succeeding aren't
very good at all including the greats of all time. No Superbowls for first -timers. Consider
Vince Young , I believe the lowest rated passer last year. First round quarterbacks are a
dime a dozen - most never pan out. Rogers has only proved that he can get hurt ! I
sincerely wish the guy the best. He's been a class act throughout the whole fiasco. I
hope he works out . It's just that in the whole scheme of probabilities and current
valuation I cannot make the investment recommendation. That being said , the Packers
should win at least 9 games with an average quarterback this year.
So how did everything work out for the Packers game-plan so far ? Yikes I wouldn't want
to be Rogers at this point. The immense pressure pretty much doubled ( at least ) there-
Code orange to code red. Ted &Mike's excellent adventure better start out on a winning
note or torches and pitchforks will only multiply and catapults will be firing at the green
&gold castle. Remember Dan Devine's dog - may Fido rest in peace. Then there is Brett
, de ja vu all over again , stuck with an average team and having to learn an entirely new
system. See tapes of Montana, Unitas, Namath and M Jordan. I hope he does well but
they have really stacked the deck against him and themselves. Unfortunately, throw the
fans in and it's the rare reverse royal flush, a Lose, Lose, Lose, Lose, Lose !
It will be fun to see what happens. Hopefully both the Packers and Jets win this year ! A
Superbowl showdown ?!!!!

Go Packers ! Go Jets !
                                  Jim

Friends:
I just saw Brett Favre on David Letterman, and he sure sounds
like he'll be arriving in Green Bay during training camp to take
over for one more year.  Also, they showed the cover of Madden
09 and Favre is on it.  Something tells me we need to start
organizing to put the public pressure on the Packers to Bring
Brett Back!  As one of Favre's biggest fans ever, I was happy for
him and know he deserves to retire on top, but if he wants to
return as he indicated, then let's get him back ASAP.  Go to
www.FavreFootball.com and sign the petition to Bring Brett Back!
Thanks.

Notable Quotes May 2008:

Mike McCarthy, Packers Head Coach - "How could you not
want Brett Favre's career to continue"

Troy Aikman, Hall of Fame quarterback - "As the season gets
closer, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he changes his mind"

Mike Sherman, Former Packers Coach - "I always envisioned
his teammates carrying him off the field — and his arm falling
off as he left."

Tony Romo, Wisconsin native - "I would welcome  him back
for sure."

Thompson said the team wasn't going to release Favre, but
he could come back in a "different role than he was" because
the team is committed to going forward with Aaron Rodgers.

The Latest:      July 13, 2008

"WOW!  Our prayers are answered.  Can
you believe it is actually more than a 1%
possibility now that we might actually get
Brett to come back?  WOW, WOW, and
triple WOW!

Every Sunday at noon people should
gather at Lambeau starting now.  In less
than 2 weeks we'd have a show of strength
to demand Favre's return in the #1 spot,
guaranteed, period.

Now is the time to speak up.  If everyone
around the world is telling us to act, then
as Packer fans here in Wisconsin we have
a duty to bring this icon back asap.  Favre
is an original like Elvis, the Beatles,
Machiavelli, DaVinci - He's a once in a
lifetime event all rolled up in a guy who just
wants to play football.

I've been asked why I'm doing this.  It sure
is because I'm a huge fan, but it's for my
kids.  If my kids can see Favre play just
one more season, that is worth more to me
as a Dad and more to them as our future,
than anything else I can think of.  Let's get
Brett Back now for our kids.

What a great way to add a footnote in
Brett Favre's NFL Historic career?
'Favre
retired but his fans actively brought
him back'
- This has never happened
before, but if it does happen, it would have
to be to bring back the greatest football
player of all time, Brett Favre, even if just
for one or two more years!"

Join the Fan Rally Noon Every Sunday at LAMBEAU
until Brett Favre joins us as our starting Quarterback!
Former Lawmaker and renown Packer super Fan Bill
Lorge has asked Brett Favre to join fans
at the
Lambeau Rallies taking place every Sunday until Favre is
re-instated as the STARTING Quarterback for the Green
Bay Packers.  A former Wisconsin State Representative
from the Packerland area, Bill "Elvis" Lorge is joining
forces with all who are committed to return Favre  and has
contacted the help increase the numbers at the rallies.
Bill Lorge is already using his political savvy by asking all
media sources to publicize the Sunday rallies all week
long, but Lorge is also asking Brett Favre personally
through several channels, and hopefully very soon one on
one, to join the fans at the Sunday Rally on July 20th and
also July 27th at Lambeau Field.
"I believe the fans will
increase in numbers to the point where Brett will no
doubt be our starting quarterback.  It's up to us fans
and if Brett is signed up by July 27th and can join us
at Lambeau, it would be the icing on the cake.  Big
numbers on July 20th will mean even bigger numbers
for July 27th,"
Lorge added.  Lorge has put in a call to
Bus Cook to help get Favre there.
"I think he will come,
he'll be in town anyway, so why wouldn't we see Brett
Favre show up to thank and encourage his fans at the
Rally?  I think he will and I for one will lay in front of
his car if he's heading anyplace other than the locker
room,"
said Lorge.  Over 200 fans rallied Sunday July
13th at the first Official Bring Brett Back noon Rally at
LAMBEAU Field in Green Bay.  Another Rally is scheduled
for noon Sunday on July 20th.  Lorge predicts thousands
will be there this Sunday at noon, and Lorge plans to work
all week to help get it done.  Lorge says he is,
"certain
that the 3rd rally on July 27th will have tens of
thousands showing up and that is enough to get Brett
Favre to join us inside the stadium for the grand
finale.  I've already notified the Packers that they will
have to open the gates for the multitudes who are on
their way".
Lorge added, "Favre is as good as back!"

Rally #2

News Release:  Published Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 3 PM
(Updated Monday, July 14, 2008 at 1 AM)
Lorge invites Favre to July 27th Rally #3
Brett Favre with his biggest fans Bill Lorge and Dennis Garrity
just minutes after the Packers win the Superbowl in 1997
Important Events:
(These are not confirmed, and based on Thompson's release
of this information and may not be true, also we added our
comments.)

March 6:  Favre Holds Retirement Press conference set up by
Thompson, Favre was directed to do this in March when he was not
ready.  You could say it was a set up, or a trick, hopefully it was
McCarthy trying to outsmart Favre into coming back, but we doubt it.
My son was very upset this day.  I had to go to his school and pick
him up as I had to tell him face to face knowing how upset he would
be that Brett Favre retired.  We called it the saddest day in
Wisconsin history.

March 6:  This web site is created to help Bring Brett Back.
Respecting Brett's decision, it was focused on what we call Favre
Football, but it was also intended to either miraculously try and get
Brett to change his mind, but also to encourage families to play
football OUTSIDE.  It was a response to the inside great game of
Madden Football.  Ironically, later Madden 09 would play a very
pivotal part in all this.

March 27:  McCarthy & Thompson arrange to meet with Favre after
Favre tells them he wants to play again.  A charter plan was ready
to take them to Favre's home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but again,
Brett changed his mind and the meeting did not take place.  It might
have been a dumb reason like, maybe Brett and Thompson just
dont get along and one of them has to go, or maybe because of the
memories of those cold games?  Regardless, it still was early and
from what we know, McCarthy was trying to get Brett back all this
time while Thompson was being Thompson.

March 29:  Favre calls McCarthy saying he is going to stay retired.
This is not actually the way it went, Favre told Gretta Van Sustrin
that he made it clear he would play, but the Packers said no.  Now it
turns out that the Packers are hung up on some notion that a rookie
like Rodgers would be better for the team than Favre and they did
not do much to get Favre back at all.

June 8:  Former Packer Guard and Offensive Line Coach James
Campen visits Favre at his home in Mississippi and finds out from
Favre that he wants to return to play for the Packers.  Here is where
McCarthy and Thompson screw up, they fumble the ball, they don't
get Favre back.  Brett should just show up.

July 4:  Favre sends a text message to Thompson who is on
vacation and wants to talk when he returns, Favre responds:  "The
sooner the better"  Thompson did not treat this as urgent,
downplayed it, and it turns out that this was the call.  This was it.

July 8:  Thompson, McCarthy, Favre & Agent Bus Cook hold
conference call to discuss Brett returning and after the Packers
made it clear Brett is not welcome then Favre asked to be released.
The Packers said no to both - How could the Packers do this?
Knowing the huge impact Favre would have this season if he
returned, they should have jumped up and down with excitement.

July 11:  Thompson receives a formal letter from Favre and Cook
formally asking for Favre's release from the Packers so he can play
for another team.  This is a last resort, as Favre said, way out there,
but he did have to play this card.

July 14:  Favre speaks out publicly.  Media says Favre was lied to.
Thompson and McCarthy hiding from their errors.  Wisconsin native
and childhood friend of mine, Gretta Van Susterin interviews Brett
proving that our efforts here to try and convince Brett to come back
should have been focused on a campaign to convince the Packer
Board to fire Thompson and or
force McCarthy to have a plan "B" -
"B" for Brett.  This was their mistake, because chances are Rogers
will get hurt in the first game anyway and Favre would play every
play even hurt.

July 19:  Favre's next scheduled appearance in Green Bay is to
present Frank Winters for induction into the Packers Hall of Fame.
Fans will to start our "Rally #2" at this event.  Dress in Packer gear,
make signs and maybe we'll have a sit in at Lambeau that day and
night up to Sunday for the 2nd Rally.

July 20:  Fans will hold "Rally #2" at Lambeau to bring back
America's greatest football player.

July 27:  Brett Favre invited to join fans at our 3rd and hopefully final
rally where he will be introduced as the STARTING QUARTERBACK
FOR THE GREEN BAY PACKERS!

Quote of the Week:
7/15/8
"I thought maybe Thompson and McCarthy were really
smart guys who knew Brett needed more time, and had a
plan B.   Turns out Thompson and McCarthy are fools,
idiots, blundering buffoons who have no clue.    All of
America knows Brett wants to play.
www.FavreFootball.com knew it day one, Letterman knew
it, Madden knew it, but the Packers didn't?   If the
Packers have a stupid coach and an even dumber
General Manager, then let's get rid of them because
telling an icon "NO" when they have some little baby like
Aaaron Rodgers who will cry for his mommy the first time
he gets hurt, when they could have had the man of steel
or iron man or
superman himself, shows that the Packer
fans need to get active fast and fire Thompson and
McCarthy, and get Favre in the #1 spot by this time
yesterday.   Enough said."

From AOL
Sports
Commentary:
Favre puts ball in Green Bay
GM Ted Thompson's court
by AL JONES
Source: SUNHERALD.com
July 11, 2008

Will Brett Favre play in a Minnesota Vikings uniform next season, or perhaps
Tampa Bay or Washington?

That's because from all indications, he is going to play football in 2008.

It just doesn't look like it will be with the Green Bay Packers.

When the news hit Friday that Favre and his agent, Bus Cook, asked the
Packers for an unconditional release, it might have caught many off guard.

But not me or Scott Favre, Brett's older brother.

"Why wouldn't he want a release?" Scott told me. "They have moved on. By not
saying anything, it says a lot.

"If they wanted him back, they could have said, 'if you want to come back, we
want you back.'

"Why would he want to go back, if he's not wanted? You tell me?"

I could not agree more.

In fact, it was only a matter of time before the bomb was dropped and from my
standpoint, the reason for the explosion around the NFL falls on the
shoulders of Packers general manager Ted Thompson.

A month ago, I stopped by Brett's house and we talked about everything from
hunting to keeping his ranch in shape.

During the conversation, he told me he was working out and throwing at Oak
Grove High School.

It was also obvious that Brett wanted to play football again.

Call it an itch if you want, but he deserves the right to change his mind.

To me, the only issue on the table right now deals directly with Thompson.

Considering what Brett has accomplished on the field, he deserves the right
to change his mind and return in 2008.

With that in mind, my question, and the only question out there is whether
Thompson ever called Brett and asked him to return. If he didn't do it by
phone, and we all know he did not, why not send an e-mail or text?

Do not, under any circumstance, send a text message like he did last week
telling the greatest player in franchise history that he was on vacation.

I don't see the Colts doing anything like this with Peyton Manning.

At first, Brett wanted to be reinstated to the NFL and that's what the text last
week to Thompson dealt with.

Thompson's response of being on vacation got the best of Brett. All Brett
wanted was an indication he would be welcomed back.

When Brett made the tearful retirement in March, Packers coach Mike
McCarthy did his best to talk No. 4 out of it.

Thompson did nothing.

Sounds like an ego problem to me.

Furthermore, Brett Favre is the main reason that Thompson was recognized
last year as one of the top general managers in the league.

How soon we forget.

Now, the decision not to bring back No. 4 rests on his shoulders.

Personally, I would not want that on my shoulders because this is a battle he
can not and will not win with the fans of Green Bay.

Ted Thompson’s Hours are Numbered
by Bill Lorge, www.FavreFootball.com
July 30, 2008

About a week ago I started writing this commentary for our website
FavreFootball.com and the headline said “Thompson’s Day are
Numbered”, but I didn’t finish nor send it out because I wanted to
help increase the positive not the negative atmosphere needed in
Packerland, plus the world’s media was tooting the Packer’s horns
for them and we were getting nowhere for awhile in our efforts to
“Bring Back Brett Favre”.  Things have changed recently, and now is
the time.

I used to see Coach Mike McCarthy at his press conferences and
think, now there’s a Player’s Coach: tough, deep voice, sturdy, solid
and honest - A Player’s Coach.  Now I look at his press conferences
and I see a stupid fat faced idiot who resembles a deer caught in
headlights, dumber than a door knob, doesn’t have a clue.  If Mike
followed Ted out the door, I wouldn’t miss him for a second, but Ted,
“It’s time for you to go.”

I am releasing this now because it now appears the national media
has finally figured out what myself, Brett Favre, other Packer
insiders, the Rally Brothers Erick and Adam Rolfson, and many
others knew, and that is that Ted, who’s title indicates that he should
“Manage” things, has devastatingly and publicly “Mis-Managed” this
entire Brett Favre Saga and that it is time for Ted to leave Green
Bay.  Now the media is finally reading between the lines and have
now easily also concluded that Favre was right when he told Greta
VanSusteren that Thompson lied to him 3 times, 3 very important
times, 3 lies that could have returned the Lombardi trophy back to
Titletown.  Since that interview, Thompson has continued to lie.  His
most recent and stunning lie was when he told Brett Favre NOT to
show up Sunday for training camp because it would get him,
Thompson, fired.  That’s a bold face lie and to tell that to one of the
most honest people alive, Brett Favre, shows Thompson is now
falling apart.  Instead he should have replied:  “Brett, Welcome
Home!”, but Ted T didn’t and it’s really just a matter of time now
before we see TT exit the Packer parking lot for the last time –
HURRAY!!!

I used to see two smart people running the Packers, but now I see
that these overpaid fools are dumber than the day is long.  I thought
maybe McCarthy and Thompson and maybe even Favre himself
planned all this for the amazing publicity and attention out there, but
I don’t think we can be that lucky; To have a record breaking player
want to return and also have two brilliant leaders of the Pack.
Instead we have a legend who wants to return, but two buffoons who
are blocking the door.  We deserve better.

I wanted to like Ted Thompson, I wanted to trust Ted Thompson, and
I wanted to support our General Manager, but in an organization
once led by Vince Lombardi who himself regretting retiring too early
and who was always focused on what was the best way to WIN, it is
clear that a man like Ted Thompson does NOT belong in a place like
LAMBEAU Field.  Hey Ted, see that door marked, “EXIT”?  Go
through it right now.

Ever since I was a little boy cheering on Bart Star, or when I was in
High School and our State Champion Clintonville Truckers played
football against the Packers kids, I blindly followed the Pack.  I have
to tell everyone in Packerland that unlike all the other times when I
entered the hallowed gates of LAMBEAU Field, last week at the
Packer’s Shareholders meeting my thrill and hair raising excitement
was replaced by adversity and disdain, thanks to Ted.  I felt more
like I saw the Detroit Lioins had taken over LAMBEAU and it was my
duty to figure out how to remove them.  I read comments left on our
www.FavreFootball.com website from people who say the same
thing.  It is clear that Brett is wanted back, needed back and
hopefully will come back, and it is not even clearer that Thompson
does not belong here.  He has to go, and be gone in less than 24
hours.

Ted Thompson was born in Atlanta, Texas, Mike McCarthy was born
in Pennsylvania, neither of them are native Wisconsinites.  Unlike a
man who was born and raised just an hour’s drive north of Lambeau
Field, Steve Mariucci, someone Favre mentioned he would like to
see Coach the Packers.

The fact that Steve Mariucci is available right now is as much of a
miracle for the Packers than the fact that the legend wants to return
to play at least one more season.  Get rid of both Thompson and
McCarthy and replace them with just one guy, Steve Mariucci.  If the
Packers did that, do you think the greatest NFL player in football
history would get on a plane and land in Green Bay asap?  The
answer is clear.  Packers, clean house.  Send Thompson and
McCarthy packing, and as long as the bus is waiting to take them
away, take Aaron Rodgers with you.

It appears the Packers are run by the "Three Blind Mice", and not
only blind, but stupid, unethical and evil.  What a bunch of fools.
Packer fans should contact the
Brown County District Attorney in
Green Bay to prosecute those three for attempting to Bribe a hall of
fame legend into not playing football, just dispicable.

Being a former Wisconsin State Legislator and businessman, I just
now again had second thoughts about releasing this commentary
until I just now received this comment left by a fan of Favre's on our
web page:
“I demand that Ted Thompson be fired on the
spot!!!! BRING BACK BRETT NOW!!!! GET OUT OF GREEN BAY
THOMPSON, You've done enough DAMAGE!!!!!!!!!”  This is from
Linda in Milwaukee
.  Thank you Linda, your quote may have just
been a drop in the bucket, but the flood is on it’s way and every
ounce of rain will prove powerful.

One last thing to put the icing on the cake if Brett returns, the 3 Blind
mice should call Randy Moss and get him in the Green and Gold
before they go.  The Packer fans have spoken.  We want Brett, Brett
wants us, and get Brett his receivers FINALLY - Enough said.
Welcome Home Brett, suit up!

6/6/9 - "Some friends of mine were emailing back and forth about
Favre where I finally compared Favre to Jesus Christ and that I was
Saint Peter but one of them haD become Judas, to which he replied to
all that this was Blasphemy.  I then had to send them that Favre
version of the Lord's Prayer so I went to a web site and got several but
also I went to the old refrigerator in my club House where my Cousin's
Lloyd's copy still hung, so I sent it to them.  After reading both Super-
Bowl versions, I decided to re-write one more time to take out the New
Orleans and Phoenix references and make it more general,
something Catholics as well as Packer Fans and most of all all die
hard St. Peter like Brett Favre Fans can recite this Prayer over and
over again.  Here it is, sponsored by Badger MLS, the new
Lorge Prayer:  OUR FAVRE"

Our Favre

Our Favre
Who art in Lambeau
Hallowed be thine arm.
Thy Bowl will come
and will be won
On Frozen-Tundra
As it is in Lambeau.
Give us this Sunday
Our weekly Win
and give us our touchdown passes
as our Defense prevents those
who can’t pass against us.
Lead us not into frustration
But deliver us from defeat.
For thine is the MVP
The Best in the NFL
And the Glory of the Green and Gold.
Now and forever
Amen
